WINTER INSPIRATION: PAPER CROWN AND COMPTOIR DES COTTONIERS

Mientras que en esta fecha, la blogósfera está inundada de sol, bikinis y playas, yo aquí, tengo que retroceder en el tiempo para encontrar un poquito de inspiración invernal. Buscando, me encontré con la colección del invierno pasado de la marca de Lauren Conrad, Paper Crown. Tiene algunas cosas demasiaaaado femeninas, pero hay otras que vale la pena rescatar. También fui a dar con la colección de invierno del 2011 de la tienda francesa Comptoir des Cottoniers, que en su época, me encantaba. Y ahora, que volví a verla, creo que aún está super actual.

As always, at this time of the year, the blogosphere is filled with sun, bikinis and beaches, and I have to go back in time to find a little bit of winter inspiration. Looking around, I found last winter's Paper Crown collection. There are some outfits toooo girlie but still, I like some dresses and skirts. I also stumble upon Comptoir des Cottoniers 2011 winter collection. I remember loving it when it first came out, and I still think it's really nice.

Este último tiempo he ido desarrollando una pequeña adicción a PINTEREST. Es el lugar perfecto para descubrir tendencias nuevas, encontrar proyectos para hacer en casa o simplemente deleitarse mirando cosas bonitas! Lo entretenido es que uno puede crear distintos tableros e ir "pineando" fotos en ellos. Es super fácil buscar y encontrar tableros o personas que tengan tus mismos intereses, ya sean decoración, cocina, diseño gráfico, moda, etc. 
Ahora quiero mostrarles estos 4 tableros que estoy siguiendo. Ah! no se olviden de ver mi cuenta también!

HOW TO LAYER UP THIS WINTER

Tengo una amiga mejicana que no entiende por qué aqui nos vestimos de tantos colores en invierno. Claro, porque hace frío y tenemos que ponernos mil capas de ropa! Pero, eso ya no es un problema. Lo sé, es difícil combinar distintos colores y texturas, pero lo bueno es que podemos divertirnos con eso y arriesgarnos a mezclar.

I have a mexican friend that doesn't understand why here we dress up with so many colors in winter. Because it's cold and we have to wear layers and layers of clothes! But now, that ain't a problem. I know, it's difficult to combine different colors and textures but, the good thing is that we can have fun with it and dare to mix.
